St. Timothy's campus consists of four buildings:
our Church, our Chapel & ECW Hall, Drake (Fellowship) Hall and Gribbin Building.
Each of these buildings houses a variety of activities weekly and monthly. We also have a lovely side yard complete with field, playground, and an Outdoor Chapel underneath the trees. Access and print a CAMPUS MAP AND SCHEDULE.
Main Church
Our main church building contains several classrooms on the lower level with the actual church and choir loft on the main floor. Several groups and committees use the classrooms for meeting space while the church is used, of course, for Sunday services, special services, funerals and weddings.
Our church is also home to many musical programs by such groups as the Winston-Salem Children's Chorus, LYRA and other professional musicians from Russia and far-off countries. Organ recitals can also be attended throughout the year and especially during Lent.
Chapel
Our Chapel is used for Wednesday services, services that are smaller, and for intimate weddings. It seats approximately 150.
ECW Hall
On the lower level of the Chapel is the ECW Hall, renovated a few years ago by our church women. This room is used often for gatherings, receptions, meetings, luncheons, dinners, and films. It is used monthly for our Episcopal Church Women meetings and OWLs luncheons.
Drake Hall
Drake Hall contains our gym and gathering space for large fellowship groups, classes, and programs. It is used for luncheons and dinners, for receptions, for plays and melodramas, for our youth group activities, and many other events. Our Capital Campaign Commitee has overseen the updates and renovations to this building, and in the summer of 2007, welcomed the parish and community to see the new lighting, new flooring, new doors and outdoor patio, and new paint. Drake Hall can now appropriately serve our parish and community in a variety of ways.
Gribbin Building
Gribbin Building is our office space which houses offices for all of our staff and clergy. It also has a library that is used for meetings and classes and a parlor with comfortable couches and chairs which several groups use throughout the week for activities and meetings.
Our Outdoor Chapel located behind the Gribbin Building is a wonderful addition to our church campus and is used during warmer months for outdoor worship services and for weddings.
If you are interested in using any of our facilities for a wedding, an event, a meeting place, or other activity, please contact Cathy Culver in the church office (765-0294, X304) for more information or to check on availability.
